Schnitzel Lovers

Being of German and Swiss descent, I know quite a bit about German food fare and love
to eat it because of how my Grandmother cooked it.
When I am talking about perogies, I am talking about the best perogies and when talking about spatzle, it's my favorite comfort food made specially for me, by Grandma.
This will be the first year that I am with out my Grandma, but in spirit I can carry on the same traditions she taught me. There are many, and some are not food related, but one we always did is cook bratwurst, perogies and sauerkraut on Christmas Eve and followed by Gluhwein (mulled wine).

You will get a festive glow and find your European side of the holidays, since I find the old fashioned traditions celebrated there are just what makes me feel like it's truly Christmas!
Try out some schnitzel at That Schnitzel Place, a local restaurant in Calgary and get into the fun of the holidays!
